Okay. So. I use Dreamhost. I was trying to run php script that I wrote that was a simple gatekeeper for client files. It ran in my sandbox. It was incredible. I upload it. Great success. The files are all there. But then I found out that apparently Dreamhost does not let you run executable php. The project has no rewards. I move on to learning Japanese.
Cut to several years later - Google Drive exists. All of my dreams have come true. Does the story end there? No. I do not give up. I find my code. I tweak it. I upload it again. I talk to Dreamhost. Days weeks and months later it still does not work. So then I give up and go back to Google Drive. And that is where the story ends.
